Motorists on Juliette Road could have slightly slower commute times tomorrow and Friday as film crews from the 2027 Hollywood movie, “The Comeback King” shoot a scene.
The film crews are expected to be in the area most of the day on Thursday (May 7) and Friday (May 8) between 1883 Juliette Road (New Beginnings Pentecostal Church) eastbound to 4111 Juliette Road (Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church).
Should inclement weather disrupt the filming schedule, as expected, filming may wrap up on Saturday, May 9 rather than on Friday evening.
Juliette Road will not be closed down altogether to motorists, but intermittent traffic control will be used to move traffic through the filming area at reduced speeds. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is aware of the movie crew’s plans and will assist with traffic needs.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.
