Residents who live on Boxankle Road between 2426 Boxankle Road and 2747 Boxankle Road and residents who live on Mayfield Road near its intersection with Boxankle Road could be without county water for several hours this afternoon (Wednesday, May 20).
The Monroe County Water Department is repairing a service line in the area, which will necessitate turning off the water supply briefly as the line is being repaired.
No Boil Water Advisory is expected to be needed as a result of this temporary outage.
