In order to repair a broken water main, the Monroe County Water Department will be temporarily turning off county water for some, and possibly all, customers whose homes are located south of Rumble Road.
This means you may not have county water service for at least several hours this evening (Tuesday, Sept. 15) and possibly a bit longer.
Once water service has been restored, all South Monroe County water system customers who live south of Rumble Road will be under a Boil Water Advisory for the next several days. You will remain under a Boil Water Advisory until the county notifies you that the Advisory has been lifted.
