The Monroe County Water Department has successfully repaired the broken water main, and water service has been restored to all water customers on the South Monroe County water system.
However, a Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect for the next several days for all county water customers who live south of Rumble Road.
We will notify you on this Facebook page, the county’s website, and on the county’s emergency alert system, Hyper-Reach, as soon as the Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.
